    Asia Pulp and Paper signs the New York Declaration about the Forests on the Climate Summit of the UN

    In a show of commitment to the environment, the company Asia Pulp and Paper signing the New York Declaration on Forests in Climate Summit UN to help fight climate change.

    Representatives from over 125 countries came to New York in a bid to revive international efforts to fight climate change.

    The "New York Declaration on Forests" is a commitment to international and multisectoral with an unprecedented level, the main idea of the declaration is to protect the world's forests and help fight climate change.

    Group President of Asia Pulp and Paper (APP), Teguh Ganda Wijaya, has joined a number of companies, governments and NGOs to sign the statement at an event included in the Climate Summit UN 2014.
