About MESOTHERAPY AND LIPODISSOLVE
Mesotherapy or Lipodissolve is a procedure wherein a concoction of vitamins and minerals is injected or delivered through mesoporation into the subcutaneous fat layer to shrink/melt or burst your fat cells. The melted fats are then absorbed by your lymphatic system and are eliminated through urine or stool.
This is done twice a month until results are seen. Following treatment protocol, stage 1 or the loading dose will take around 3 to 4 sessions spaced 1 week apart. This is followed by stage 2. It is at this stage wherein maximum improvement is seen. This is done every 2 weeks until patient is already satisfied and happy with the result. Usually, 2 -3 sessions are needed at this stage. Stage 3 is the maintenance stage, this can be done every 2 to 4 weeks. Of course, this procedure must be complemented with exercise, a healthy diet and lifestyle.
Side effects are temporary and will include swelling, tenderness and bruising. Secondary benefits from this procedure are lightening/improvement of stretchmarks/scars and firming of the skin. No preparation is needed. The physician will just have to evaluate you thoroughly if you are a good candidate for mesotherapy. Patients taking aspirin or any anticoagulants are advised to temporarily discontinue the aforementioned meds 3 to 7 days prior the procedure.
